GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WZZM) - The housing market may be suffering right now but, one woman is using a creative twist to sell her home. She is planning to raffle off her condominium to a lucky winner. Angela Schaab is selling raffle tickets for a chance to own her condo in the Boardwalk complex in Grand Rapids.

She loved the condo, but moved out of state for job related reasons. So now she wants someone else to be able to enjoy it. Schaab explains, "With Michigan's job market and rate of foreclosures, I thought it would be a great way for someone to get into either a first home or to acquire a rental property."

Schaab plans to sell 2,500 raffle tickets for $100 each. Right now she is just taking reservations for the tickets. Once they have all been sold, she'll hold a live drawing. Whoever wins will own the condo free and clear.

Schaab is also planning to give at least ten percent of her profits to charity. You can take a look at pictures of the condo at http://sites.google.com/site/rafflemyboardwalkcondo/

SoooOoo they found the West Nile Virus in Pawtucket.  Am I gonna catch it?  I live in Providence, but mosquitos have wings!  They can fly fast! The Article tells me to go home and get rid of anythingin my yard that holds standing water because these are "mosquito breeding grounds" Things like  "old tires, buckets, junk and debris". . .What does West Nile do to me?  I'm gonna google that. . .give me a moment. . . . . . . . .

OK. . .so  its no AS bad as they ae makign me feel

"About one in 150 people infected with WNV will develop severe illness. The severe symptoms can include high fever, headache, neck stiffness, stupor, disorientation, coma, tremors, convulsions, muscle weakness, vision loss, numbness and paralysis. These symptoms may last several weeks, and neurological effects may be permanent."

OK so 1 in 150. . .  I ususaly stand up to illness pretty well so I guess I shouldnt be that concerned, beside I am pretty much ina  stupor mose of the time!  The article say 80 percent of people show no symptoms whatsoever and the other 20 percent show flu-like symptoms for a few days.  I guess the people that develop severe reactions are usualy babies or over 50.  Sooo I dont have TOO much to wory about. I'll jsut keep watch on any children or goolden-aged peeps I know and make sure they wear full body-suits when stepping out in the high mosquito rate hours of the day. . . I feel better
